Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to spur one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24
Dear Partners in Ministry,
Have you noticed God moving through the people in the ministries of the church and within the congregation? I have and I am very excited about it.
I believe we are just at the beginning point of a revival of involvement in ministries and God raising up great leaders to do incredible things for the kingdom at Bethesda. I am excited to see what the Resurrected One has in store for us through our ministries in the future.
In recent months, I have had the pleasure of talking with individuals who sought guidance from me because they’ve discerned that God was calling them to lead or serve in a new ministry. How exciting is this? This is a first in the seven years I’ve served as pastor of this church.
In response to this, I’ve felt moved in my spirit to offer a monthly gathering for those who are involved, lead or have a new ministry idea in mind.
I am calling this gathering, “The Ministry Round Table”. It will take place every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. The purpose for this group is to spur one another to love and fruit-bearing ministries.
What should you expect from this?
Who? Anyone who is involved in an established ministry, is seeking involvement in a ministry or has a new ministry idea.
When? Our first gathering will be Wednesday. May 22 6:30pm.
Lastly, there is nothing official about this gathering. There are no expectations of when or if you come at any given month.
I must confess. I am very excited about the potential of seeing and sharing with you at this gathering. I hope you will feel welcome to give a try.
Cheering for you!
